Meet Louise: Your Guide to Mastery in Acting, Voice, and Movement

With a rich tapestry of experience and enthusiasm, Louise is your go-to expert in the realms of acting, voice, movement awareness, and kinesthesiology. Holding certificates in both The Alexander Technique and Functional Awareness, Louise brings over 25 years of teaching wisdom to students of all ages—from as young as 4 to as seasoned as 96!

Born and raised in the vibrant Washington, DC area, Louise’s journey in the performing arts began early. She stepped into the spotlight at just 12 and had her first aha moment with movement at age 15, thanks to a transformative study of The Alexander Technique at Arena Stage.

Her academic pursuits took her to Princeton University, where she delved into Comparative Literature and Theatre, followed by a rigorous immersion in the craft at New York University's Graduate Acting Program. After years of thriving in the bustling theatre scene of New York, Louise returned to her roots in the DC area, drawn by the pull of family.

Now residing in Maryland, Louise shares her home with her two lively daughters, an amazing husband, and a delightfully goofy dog named Aristotle. When she’s not teaching or performing, you’ll find her enjoying life’s little adventures with her family.

Join Louise in exploring the art of movement, voice, and acting with joy and creativity!
